Dear Bohdan,
I was deeply saddened to hear about your passing. Your presence in our lives was more than just that of a customer. I truly enjoyed our conversations, your stories, and the adventures you shared. Your advice was always valuable, and I will miss hearing about your exciting experiences.
You had a remarkable spirit, and your absence will be deeply felt. Please know that you made a lasting impact on those around you.
With sincere sympathy,
Natalie and Team at BCSR

Hi Peter
I am so sorry to hear of Dads passing (already one year ago) but hope you are managing the silence now that losing both Mum and Dad may be creating.
I was asking a friend yesterday if they had heard how Bohdan was going and she looked it up on her phone and found he had passed, way back in 2024 just before his 75th birthday- we were 49 ers together so I was deeply saddened by that news. He was a great friend and taught me a lot about life and mud brick building.
I loved the magnificence of the house in Greendale that Dad built and felt it was a work of art rather than a just beautiful creation but mum also made the garden look beautiful with her choice of eclectic and intricate native plants. So many of her creative talents were overwhelmed by Dads enormous projects I felt. But they were a strong team in every way.
I remember the canoe that Dad built that we took to the Werribee river. Another work of art. You were able to single handedly guide this long boat along the river while mum and dad lay down on cushions and slept!! You were only a young boy but so capable and happy which was my joy to just observe.
I wish you every success in life and I know you will have this, coming from two wonderful parents and please keep your sense of humour it always made me laugh when things were too serious.
Are you going to return to Australia in the future? If you do please call me as I would love to catch up wth you again. I have a small farm now in Creswick just up the road towards Ballarat.
My Mobile is 0418974556 if this is helpful in the off chance you do.
